The Champion Big Canoe Men Golfers for 2017

2017 Big Canoe Club Championship

Contested over two days, July 14 and 15, the men of Big Canoe got to duke it out for the various golfing championships available.

In this championship event, each golfer must play his own ball (no partners, no teams, no help) while strictly following the USGA rules of golf. It’s a challenge, for sure. In most regular play, if we golfers reach our maximum allowed score we declare that we’re going to post an ESC score (most likely the score to have made to a maximum allowed at your handicap level). In competition play, however, you have to keep hitting it until it finally goes in the hole. Lots of pressure, lots of stress and lots of scores much higher than normal.

The Club Championship is open to all golfers / property owners in Big Canoe but is mostly populated by the members of the Men’s Golf Association. To be Club Champion in any age bracket is an honor and a testament to two skillfully played rounds. This year our winners are….
