Drought forces delay of hemlock treatment

Sadly, another fallout of the drought we are experiencing is the postponement of the hemlock re-treatment for woolly adelgids until the spring. Will Blozan, arborist consultant, has advised the Conservation Committee the soil is too dry to make the injection of the chemical suspension at each tree's base effective.
