Trinity Church organizes hurricane relief efforts for Bahamas victims
As soon as Hurricane Dorian moved away from the Bahamas leaving destruction in its wake, Samaritan’s Purse was moving in with relief efforts and mobile hospitals to help the victims of that storm. Trinity Church has committed over $20,000 to help send medical professionals, plastic tarps and water filters through Samaritan’s Purse to our needy neighbors in the Bahamas. Trinity will also send a team of volunteers to Horry County, S.C. to help repair homes damaged by the flooding caused by Hurricane Florence. That team will be serving with Samaritan’s Purse the week of December 1-6, 2019.
Trinity Church has enjoyed a long-standing partnership with Samaritan’s Purse and typically sends out two disaster relief teams each year to work with Samaritan’s Purse in a recovering storm zone. The church also participates annually in the Operation Christmas Child campaign which provides gifts and the Gospel to needy children all over the world. If you would like to donate or help in these relief efforts, please contact Trinity Church at 770-893-2682 or visit online at www.TrinityChurchMH.org. Trinity Church is located in Marble Hill on Steve Tate Highway between Big Canoe’s Main and North gates.
