More than 150 people turned out for the Saturday, Sept 1 Sourwood and Honey Dip Saloon Crawfish Fest where Chef Rick Stack and Louisiana native and popular Cajun cook Jeff Moreau, teamed up to serve genuine Cajun fare.

The popular band Suburban Road played blues and rock while hungry revelers feasted on crawfish “po boys”, gumbo, etouffee and sides. Soft drinks and beer were also served on the warm sunny afternoon.

A portion of the proceeds benefitted the Pickens Sheriff’s Foundation.
