Jasper Rotary creates priceless smiles

Rotarians were thrilled to be a part of JeepFest this year and enjoyed watching the jeeps attempting to surmount the mud pit and obstacle course, eating the delicious food and the shopping with the vendors.

Our primary job was easy. All we had to do was make children smile. How do you make children smile at JeepFest? You paint Jeeps on their faces! Working both Saturday and Sunday, volunteers from the Rotary Club of Jasper painted over 250 children’s faces and quite a few adults.

Best of all was the smile on the children’s faces when they looked in the mirror and saw a Jeep painted in their favorite color. The face painting may have been free but, to Rotarians, the smiles were priceless.

Thank you to all Rotarians and volunteers who helped make this service project a great success.
