The Hard Conversation…We need to talk

Georgia Mountains Hospice, North Georgia Veterans, Drew Early/elder care attorney, Cagle Funeral Home and Roper Funeral Home have joined together to offer residents of Pickens County an opportunity to have “The Hard Conversation...We Need to Talk.”

The all-day event—designed to help individuals and family come together to prepare for the end of life—will take place from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4 at Georgia Mountain Hospice located at 70 Caring Way in Jasper, Ga.

The event planners hope to offer a no-holds-barred panel who will help you discuss end of life care, financial planning for that care and even your final resting place on your terms with your family understanding your wishes. They have chosen November, National Hospice Month, to offer the benefits of hospice and bring some of these unspoken topics out in the open. Registration begins at 9 a.m. featuring a panel discussion and time for questions and answers.

Please join us for the knowledge and confidence needed to age with answers. RSVPs must be received by November 1; seating is limited to first 100 participants. Lunch will be provided. For more information contact Gina Pendley at 706-253-4100 or visit our website www.georgiamountainshospice.org.
