New kitchen; old problem
To the Editor:
It is extremely hard for some residents to enjoy lunch at the restaurant when they have to park in the lower lots. Age has a way of limiting that kind of walk and just forget about it completely if the weather is bad.
When my book club started in Big Canoe over 20 years ago it wasn’t a problem.
Age has taken its toll with knee, hip replacements, etc.
I have written to the powers that be over the years with no response.
We now meet elsewhere where the parking is accessible to the restaurant.
Valet parking would be the answer.
Make public a number to call for a golf cart pick-up and let the server know when you are leaving so a cart will meet you outside.
Every age group should be able to enjoy the food and beautiful view our restaurant affords the community.
An oldie that is still clickin’, especially my knees.
