Clara – In need of a home of her own
Did you ever look into the eyes of an animal and see sadness? That’s what I see in Clara’s eyes. She is a 3 year old female tortoiseshell cat residing at Maggie’s House, Big Canoe’s cat shelter.
Clara had a very rough beginning in life, possibly including some abuse, which made her very wary of people. Fortunately she has made great progress due to the love and attention of our wonderful volunteers and now allows and even seeks petting.
All she needs to make the final transition to a loving and content cat is a good family to call her own, one that will give her the love and compassion she so needs. If you and your family think you might be interested, please contact BCAR at 706-268-1346 to make an appointment to meet her. I promise you she is worth a visit!
Sophie gets along well with the other cats at Maggie’s House, the Big Canoe Animal Rescue feline shelter. She especially loves the kittens at the kennel even though they are not her kittens. She enjoys bathing them with her tongue and comes running if she thinks they need her assistance.
Sophie is looking for a loving forever home and will make a wonderful companion.
Please stop by our Open House on Saturdays from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. to meet Sophie and all our adoptable felines.
BCAR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill shelter for homeless dogs and cats found in the Big Canoe community, providing them with a safe, healthy and positive environment until they are adopted into their forever loving homes. There are ways you can help. Your helping journey starts here:
