Sienna, a loving, gentle cat, needs a forever home
“I have studied many philosophers and many cats.
The wisdom of cats is infinitely superior.”
By Pat Kraft
In late Spring, a mother cat and her four young kittens were found in the IGA parking lot inside a box. Fortunately, the kittens got the help they needed at BCAR and are now happily settled in their forever adoptive homes.
Sienna, the mother, is a one-year old gray and white tabby. Unfortunately, she still waits at Maggie’s House for someone to choose her. She is such a nice gentle cat. She’s extremely affectionate, and was very protective of her last kitten, Isabelle, who was recently adopted.
Please consider adopting an older cat like Sienna. Not only has Sienna gained much needed weight, but her coat is soft and shiny and, best of all, she has become even more loving. She often licks our volunteers’ hands and arms in a display of affection. She is as playful and happy as a kitten and will become a great companion. Please visit Sienna and our other cats and kittens at our Open House on Saturdays from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Also consider other ways you can contribute to the work we do: volunteering, fostering and contributions are always welcome. BCAR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit no-kill shelter for homeless dogs and cats found in the Big Canoe Community, providing them with a safe, healthy and positive environment until they are adopted into their forever loving homes.
