Easy-going, gentle TIGGER: a true lap cat
By Sherry Shelton
Friendly, docile and affectionate are the best words to describe handsome Tigger. This gentle and easy-going male brown tabby is a true lap cat that loves to be brushed and showered with affection. Tigger has come a long way in eight months. BCAR has seen many sad rescue situations and unfortunately Tigger ranks near the top of the list.
Tigger was found freezing, starving and sick under the steps of the Fuego Mexican Restaurant on Jan. 3, 2019. He weighed just a little over 6 lbs. Due to his poor condition, we were unsure whether he would survive his ordeal. However, with the loving help and care of our BCAR volunteers at Maggie’s House, Tigger has made a remarkable recovery.
Tigger is now healthy and playful and loves to curl up in your lap and be loved. He is estimated to be 7-8 years old and gets along great with the other BCAR cats. Tigger is looking for a loving forever home and will make a wonderful companion.
Please stop by our open house on Saturdays from 11a.m. until 2 p.m. to meet Tigger and all our adoptable felines.
BCAR is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit no-kill shelter for homeless dogs and cats found in the Big Canoe Community, providing them with a safe, healthy and positive environment until they are adopted into their forever loving homes.
