Meet Lacey, BCAR cats and dogs Saturday, March 23 at BCAR Open House
By Sherry Shelton
Lacey is among one of the greatest cats at BCAR. This easygoing one-year-old tabby has a gentle, warm, and loving personality and gets along great with humans and other cats.
Lacey has strikingly beautiful big gold eyes and an adorable white muzzle with two little golden dots on each side that will melt your heart. Lacey is one of the friendliest cats we’ve ever met. She’s happy to join the playful antics of the other cats but also content to be a cuddle bug. She can be found batting at the ponytail of a BCAR volunteer, jumping high in the air to bat toy mice, then curling up in your lap and sleeping.
Lacey was found trying to fend for herself along with her Mom and siblings behind a local shopping center. After their traumatic rescue, Mom and siblings took a while to adapt to their new loving environment as most cats normally do. But not Lacey. This happy little girl didn’t need any special adjustment period. Lacey was social, talkative, and loving the minute she was rescued.
Lacey’s exceptional personality makes her one of the favorites among Maggie’s House volunteers and guests. Lacey will make you wonder how you managed before this amazing girl came into your home.
