Bulk Trash Facility moved to Hubbard Road

Bulk Trash Day will remain the last Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a new location.

Beginning Saturday, January 26 the new location will be off Hubbard Road across from the North Gate. Turn left before Station 6 Dawson County Fire Station and go through the gates. Property owners are now required to show their POA identity cards for admittance. A fee will be charged for bulk trash, $5 for cars, $7 for SUVs, and $10 for trucks. Garbage and recyclables will remain at the trash facility with no fee charge.

This fee and ID are necessary because the bulk trash bins were being used not only by property owners but illegally by contractors. Last year it cost property owners an additional $60,000 for trash disposal.
