New Grazing on the Green event very successful

A creative new event, hosted by the Clubhouse at Lake Sconti, was so much fun it may become a new Big Canoe tradition—by popular request. The 100 attendees tasted delicious treats as they toured three beautiful areas on the golf green—two were close enough to the clubhouse to walk and the other was reached by golf cart up a hill—before returning to the Veranda for a gourmet meal.

“The event was designed to provide something really fun for residents with the added bonus that non-golfers had a chance to enjoy a tour of the ‘secrets of Big Canoe,’”said Teri Sawyer, clubhouse events manager. “Look for lots of out of the box events tailor-made for folks who live here. We are very excited about making 2019 a really fun year for all involved.” Sawyer said she is planning for another Grazing on the Green event in 2019 “with a different twist.”
