Big Canoe Woodworkers make 200+ toys and puzzles

The Big Canoe Woodworkers Club made over 200 wooden puzzles and toys for the local Toys for Tots campaign. Members making the puzzles and toys included club president Terry Nicholson, Brian Beals, Palmer Knight, Cecil Schneider, Kevin White, Claude Drevet, Ken Kidd, Malcolm Halls and Phil Waldron.

The public can donate toys at the Toys for Tots headquarters located at 1124 East Church St., Jasper.

Unwrapped and new toys may be dropped off from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday beginning November13. Drop off boxes are located around the county.
