Meet three terrific tabbies at Maggie’s House
Summer is a busy time in BCAR’s Maggie’s House—it’s right in the middle of kitten season. This month we are featuring our “Three Terrific Tabbies.”
Roo and Dale are approximately 12 weeks old. Roo is the smaller of the two and is a very curious little boy. He plays with all of the toys in the shelter and investigates any activity, either those perpetuated by our volunteers or by the other cats and kittens. He has a good appetite and gets along well with all of the shelter residents. He is a true gray tabby with beautiful stripes and bright blue eyes.
Dale is Roo’s litter mate and they are very attached to each other. He is dark gray with a distinctive swirl pattern in his fur. He is playful but more cautious than Roo. He also eats well and gets along well with our other cats and kittens. Either of these two would do well independently but would also be very happy to be adopted together.
Casey is the remaining kitten of Lola, a rescue who was fostered through her pregnancy and the first seven weeks of the kittens’ lives. He was born on March 21 of this year. He is a delight! Very inquisitive, independent, curious, and brave! He thinks he is a big boy and prefers to be with the adult cats. He will be a wonderful addition to a loving household.
All of our cats and kittens are current on vaccinations. The adults are spayed or neutered and microchipped. BCAR pays or reimburses for kittens to be spayed or neutered and microchipped if this has not been done before they are adopted. BCAR also covers the cost of all first-year vaccinations.
Big Canoe Animal Rescue holds open house every Saturday from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. Please visit us to meet all of our available animals, both dogs and cats.
