Rick Stack, managing partner and chef of Sourwood Café, is sponsoring an extraordinary event to benefit the Legacy of Caring at Sourwood Café on February 1 at 6 p.m. The Paul Hobbs Wine Dinner will feature five legendary Hobbs wines and four courses. The dinner will include lobster salad, stuffed quail, beef short rib ravioli with wild mushroom ragu, and artisanal cheeses. A silent auction will follow. The cost of the event is $110 per person. For reservations, call Sourwood Café at 470-695-3600.

The Legacy of Caring, a fundraiser of the Big Canoe Chapel Women’s Guild, supports charitable organizations that focus on the wellbeing of women and children in Pickens and Dawson counties. In its 30th year, the Legacy of Caring has raised $1,700,000 for its programs. Upcoming events include the Gala on April 21st and the Marketplace and Tour of Homes on May 18th and 19th.
