Join the North Georgia Vets on Veterans Day

The speaker will be Lt. Col. Rebecca A. Gray, Inspector General for United States Air Force’s premiere Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) wing and three geographically separated units.
Gray identifies areas of concern within the wing and provides the commander with advice, trend analysis and corrective resolution. She develops strategies and conducts inspector general reviews, investigations, fraud waste and abuse disclosures and presidential and congressional inquiries.
Upon graduating as a three time all American in springboard diving from the United States Air Force Academy, Gray received her active duty commission in 1994. In 1995, she was selected as a world class athlete culminating in the World Games, Rome, Italy.
In 1998, Gray joined the Air Force Reserve and served as the combat support flight commander of the 325th services squadron, Hurlburt Field Air Force Base, Florida. In 2009 she joined the Georgia Air National Guard and in 2011 she was selected as a Secretary of Defense Fortune 500 Corporate Fellow assigned to Georgia Power Co. in Atlanta. Her research focused on changes in the utility industry and how it affects the culture and operation of the Dept. of Defense. Prior to her current role, she served as commander of the 116th Force Support Squadron, Robins Air Force Base, Ga. Her squadron supported 2,900 airmen on the Georgia Air National Guard for the Adjutant General. She is employed by the Southern Co. in Atlanta.
The North Georgia Veterans will provide a medley of songs for the service.
