The Pickens County Library is kicking off 2017 with a host of events spanning a variety of interests. From book clubs to family storytime, there is something fun for everyone.

Anytime-Anywhere Book Club
Pickens County Library

No meetings, no deadlines, just good books. Stop by to pick up a copy of this month’s book Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford or choose a read-alike. Discussion questions and bonus material will also be available if you wish to do more than just read the book.

LEGO Club
Pickens County Public Library

Youth of all ages are invited to build LEGO masterpieces. All LEGOs are provided by the library. At the end of the Club, creations will be put on display in the library. DUPLO blocks will be available for our youngest patrons. Children 9 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Tolkien Birthday Bash

You are invited to a party of special magnificence! Misses Brooke and Katie request the pleasure of the company of patrons of adults and teens in the celebration of J.R.R. Tolkien’s 125th birthday at Pickens County Library on the hill on Tuesday the 3rd of January. No admittance except on party business!

Lap-sit Storytime
