Experience movies under the Big Canoe sky

The Big Canoe POA Programs & Events Committee and Canoe Cubs announce the lineup for the Summer Outdoor Movie Series, every Wednesday evening during June and July, with a special date night showing of “Hidden Figures” in August.

What better way to spend a summer evening in Big Canoe than under the stars watching your favorite family films. All movies will be on the Village Playfield. Moviegoers can bring their own tailgating chairs, blankets, snacks and preferred beverages. Concessions will be available for purchase.

The summer movie series is free to Big Canoe property owners and their guests.

Wednesday, June 7: “Sing”
Wednesday, June 14: “Trolls”
Wednesday, June 21: “The Spiderwick Chronicles”
Wednesday, June 28: “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”
Wednesday, July 5:    “Moana”
Wednesday, July 12: “A Dog's Purpose”
Wednesday, July 19: “Madagascar 3”
Wednesday, July 26: “The Lego Batman Movie”
Wednesday, Aug. 2: “Hidden Figures”

Movies begin at dusk, around 9 p.m. Of course, the movie series is weather permitting and dates are subject to change.
