The stage is calling your name
Hear that? It’s the sound of the spotlight calling. Answer it by attending auditions for Holly Theatre’s upcoming production of 42nd Street. Who knows? You might just steal the show.
42nd Street Auditions
Saturday, March 25th from 3pm to 6:30 pm and
Sunday, March 26 from 2pm to 6pm
42nd Street is a classical Broadway musical set in the 1930's Broadway scene. Song and dance are the heartbeat of this story, as opposed to the highlight. Dancers in this show will need to be experienced in or able to quickly learn tap.
This show has several wonderful non-dancing roles; however, those interested at all in dancing in the show must attend at least one 2 hour tap workshop session with the choreographer prior to the audition date. These will be offered on March 18th at 1pm and 3pm in the Black Box of the Holly Theatre. If you wish to be considered for any dancing role, please indicate which of these sessions you plan to attend when you schedule your audition time.
All actors, please come to auditions prepared to sing a song of your choice. Live accompaniment will not be provided, but you are welcome to bring an accompanist, CD, MP3 player, play, or sing a capella for your audition. Please choose a song that best demonstrates your natural vocal range and tone.
