Gibbs Gardens presents its first Spring Arts Festival May 20, 21

Gibbs Gardens will host its first annual Spring Arts Festival on Saturday and Sunday, May 20 and 21. With 220 acres of world-class gardens as the backdrop, the 100 percent juried art show—featuring more than 48 renown artists—will be one of the most prominent art happenings in North Georgia this season.

Conservation Committee: Hemlock Treatment Update

Last fall the drought forced postponement of the scheduled wooly adelgid treatment. This treatment is now scheduled for April 24. Fortunately, infested hemlocks usually do not die quickly.

Both fast-acting and longer, residual insecticides will be applied.
