Dawson Drug Awareness and Recovery Expo set for Sept. 11

Dawson County’s Friends of Recovery (FOR) is a non-profit organization to support the Accountability Court Programs of Dawson County, its participants and to provide resources to focus on prevention, recovery, treatment, and public awareness education.

September is National Recovery Month. Dawson County Friends of Recovery is celebrating by hosting a Drug Awareness and Recovery Expo, beginning at 6 p.m. September 11. The event will take place at the Church at War Hill, 8847 Hwy. 53 E, Dawsonville.

We want to welcome you to participate with us in educating the public about the drug epidemic in our area. Information will be given on what to look for, prevention, treatment, drug in schools, and how using drugs effects families.
