Vehicle wrecks on Wedgewood Drive

The work week ended early for Joaqin Trujillo Friday afternoon after making a mistake in his turning onto Wedgewood Drive in Big Canoe. Trujillo ended up driving off the road and crashing the front end of his vehicle into a tree. The only injury was the car, according to Big Canoe EMT Jeremy Grizzle. Outside management firms topic of POA’s Community Coffee

Anticipating a large crowd for its first Community Coffee of 2017 Saturday, Jan. 14, the Big Canoe Property Owners Association (POA) staff set up 102 chairs, which quickly grew to 125 and then standing room in the Mountains Grille. The attraction: The POA board’s consideration of hiring an outside management firm rather than continuing to be self-managed.
