Big Canoe’s Ridgerunners named Rosemary Richie “2017 Woman of the Year” at their April meeting.

Former Woman of the Year Judy Lacey made the presentation, explaining the annual award provides the opportunity to recognize a woman who has “contributed her time and energy to Big Canoe but also the community at large by giving of her time and effort in so many unselfish ways.”

Rosemary Richie has an impressive list of accomplishments inside the Big Canoe community where she has served as a member of the Benevolence Committee at the Chapel, chaired an auction fundraiser for the Wellness Collaborative, and worked for the Tour of Homes in several important roles, to name a few of her contributions.
