You've probably noticed our fresh coat of paint-a new look and feel for the HOA web site. The enhancements to the site have been focused upon improving HOA operational efficiency and communications to you, the member.

Phase Two resulted in the site you see now.

Phase Three is available now and includes:

  • Online membership dues payment - if you would like to join the HOA or renew your membership
  • Online ballots for HOA Board elections - membership dues will have to be paid before you can vote.
  • Online RSVP to HOA events and online payment for those events
  • Online ticketing system - for quick response to web site issues, located in the "Get Help" menu at the top of the page

HOA's mission becomes the driving force
for major areas of focus in serving the community

The newly elected HOA Board took its first step into the future of service to the community with its first organizational and planning session held in the Smoke Signals office in the Foothills Shopping Center.

Beginning with the mission that reads: “The Big Canoe HOA is the representative organization dedicated to enriching life at Big Canoe through Communications, Programs and Advocacy”, we defined the driving force for each of the three major areas of focus:

  • For the Communications team, the driving force is to promote open and accurate dialogue within and external to our community.
  • For the Programs team, the driver is to sponsor relevant events or activities that provide healthy lifestyle, family-centered activities and to create opportunities for excursions.
  • The Advocacy team will be driven by issues that impact life at Big Canoe from within and from outside our gates.
