'Round The Mountain is devoted exclusively to bringing you the current calendar of social events in Big Canoe for the coming six weeks. Most events are listed on the Big Canoe Community Calendars where you can set your own e-mail event reminders and import events straight into your iCal compatible calendar (Outlook, Mozilla, etc.) - or simply print them for future reference.

- HOA Board Meeting: Tuesday, March 16 at the Clubhouse at 8:30 a.m. in the Club Room. Public invited.

- Women’s Guild: Thursday, March 11 at 10:00 a.m. at the Broyles Center; Ginger Garrett presenting, “Beauty Secrets of the Bible,” . Open to all women in Big Canoe.

- Ridgerunners: Tuesday, March 9 at 10:00 a.m at the Clubhouse; “First Impressions,” presented by June Lewis. Reservations for lunch required.
- Acoustic Music Jam Club: Thursday, March 4 at the Canoe Lodge at 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Contact Vincent Ciliberto at 706-579-2603. The group meets on the 1st Thursday of every month.
- Leadership Big Canoe: 7th class Friday, March 5 in the Dogwood Room at the Clubhouse from 8:45 a.m. - 12 Noon: “Interfacing with Local Communities,”.
- BCAR Adoption Day: February 27 and 28 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Kennel.
- Wildflower Bunch: Opening Luncheon on Wednesday, March 3, 11:30 a.m. at the Clubhouse. Presenter Cynthia Hendry will speak on the “Gardens of Big Canoe.” More information to follow.
- North Georgia Veterans: Wednesday, March 10 at 12 Noon in the Dogwood Room at the Clubhouse. Lunch buffet will be provided for a cost of $13.00; Guest speaker: David Buckelew, son of Al and Helen Buckelew, will speak on his experiences in Afghanistan and Iraq. David is in Special Forces.
