Letter to the editor: Thank you Laura Link and Smoke Signals, for keeping the Big Canoe community informed when we have a local weather situation that we have no other source of information other than our wonderful public safety department. They don’t need to be bothered with questions like “Is Petit Ridge navigable?” and so forth when they’re so busy taking care of real emergencies and coordinating the road crews so that the roads are cleared. Your e-blast was welcome and much appreciated. Thank you again and keep up the good work! Jim and Becca Weck |
