Solos host POA Board candidates

The October Solo party was hosted by JoAnn Goodroe, Sybil Underwood, Nancy McCall and Aime Baars. The candidates running for the POA Board were invited to the October Solo Club so we could meet them and get to know their positions on issues in Big Canoe. We appreciate the candidates coming and talking to the Solo group and giving us an opportunity to know them.

All Big Canoe singles are invited to attend the Solo Club monthly meetings at 7 p.m. on the second Friday of each month at the Canoe Lodge (unless otherwise notified). The social hour begins at 7 p.m., with dinner at 8. (This gives the members who work time to get to Big Canoe and join us).
Ladies bring their favorite casserole, salad or dessert and gentlemen bring wine or hors d'oeuvres. If you know anyone who is single and would like to be notified, or if anyone would like more information, please call Solo Club coordinator Sybil Underwood at 706-268-3794.
