From tasty appetizers and intimate brunches to five-course feasts, Cindy King sees lovingly prepared food as a way to bring people together. With only the freshest ingredients, Cindy is expert at creating a festive mood with delicious food – and a fabulous presentation that is customized to your event. “My goal is to assist you in making a lasting impression on, and taking good care of, your guests,” says Cindy. “And I want you to enjoy your event without the slightest concern about the quality and quantity of food.” Cindy’s love affair with food began when she was a farm girl growing up in Minnesota, where her family gathered around the kitchen table in the evenings to enjoy her mother’s healthy, hearty home-cooked food, and each other. At 30, Cindy moved to Atlanta to be closer to two of her sisters and it didn’t take long before the word about her love of cooking (and her scrumptious culinary creations) got out. She was soon catering parties, business events, romantic dinners and weddings.

In 2000, Cindy and her husband decided to make their dream of living in the mountains come true and they moved to Blue Ridge. Within a year, Cindy had converted their garage into a commercial kitchen, which she calls her creative culinary studio. “This is my playroom where I make scrumptious dishes for my catering clients, as well as all of my custom designed Trolley Treats goodies.” All of Cindy’s Trolley Treats creations, including gift baskets, wedding favors, customized business "thank you’s" and gourmet apples, are hand-made and home-made, and designed personally by Cindy to meet your specific needs.
